Touching Hearts Foundation International inc

On the 18th day of June 2017, Touching Hearts Foundation International inc, as part of our corporate social responsibility, we went to the Ga-east municipal of Greater Accra region of Ghana to cook for the resident's of a sub village called pantang village.

We went there with, food, drinks, water, biscuits etc. to feed the destitute and the less privileged in the community.


The village has about 1000 resident's and out of this number, we can bodly say that, more the 400 of them are vulnerable and less privileged. Most women in the community are without husband's but with not less than two children and more.

Upon reaching there, we consulted the Assembly man of the community to help us locate the destitute, orphans, widows and the aged so as to focus more on them than the privileged.

As part of the people we served, this small boy happens to be part of them, he was served and within 10mins we saw him with his plate joining the cue again.

As funny as it was to us, we went to him to ask if he wasn't satisfied, and to our surprise, he was using his hands to direct us to something, so we try to locate what he was showing us, and we found out that, he took the food home to his parent's and they helped him finish it, and still sent her to come for more.

His story was interesting, so we tried to know more about him and his family, and to our surprise, we found out that, he is the fifth child of his single mother.

His mother was with 6 children without a husband, and all the six of them were not schooling, not only that, the mother told us that, she finds it difficult to feed them.


So we took it upon ourself to help them in our little way, the founder of this foundation in the person Naa Smyle Holm (woman of faith) established the mother in petty trading to enable her feed the children, as well as to educate them.


Not only did Naa smyle (woman of faith) decided to established the mother in trading business, but also, supported the children in their schooling and shelter.


By the special help of God, He has bless the woman in her business and now doing so well in life.
