On the 11th of August 2020, a donor from Apam in the central region of Ghana, who lives in Canada, after watching our live interview with Mad. Regina and her three kids, called our office to render her support to this family in diverse ways.
In our first interview with Madam Regina, she stated and we confirmed that, all her three children were not circumcised as at their ages, the first child 8yrs, the second is 5yrs and the last child is almost a year old. And as at this their ages, none were circumcised.
Mrs. Jane Aidoo (a.k.a Sister Ama Adoma) took it upon herself to pay for the cost of circumcision of all these three children at Apam Government hospital, including all the prescribed drugs and pampers needed to stop the flow of blood cause by the wounds of the circumcision. She single handedly again took the cost of registering them on the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) for them to have free access to healthcare.
Apart from all this steps taken by Mrs. Jane Aidoo to help this poor family, she has also donated foodstuffs and cloths, as well as providing her with daily house keeping money for her and her last child’s upkeep, since the first two kids are with Touching Hearts by Naa Smyle Foundation orphanage home.
